Geotask app is designed for corporate / transport employee use only.
Depending on the User’s specific device, this Application may request certain permissions that allow it to access the User’s device Data as described below.
By default, these permissions must be granted by the User before the respective information can be accessed. Once the permission has been given, it can be revoked by the User at any time. In order to revoke these permissions, Users may refer to the device settings or contact the Owner for support at the contact details provided in the present document.
The exact procedure for controlling app permissions may be dependent on the User’s device and software.
Please note that the revoking of such permissions might impact the proper functioning of this Application.
If User grants any of the permissions listed below, the respective Personal Data may be processed (i.e accessed to, modified or removed) by this Application.
Camera permission
Used for accessing the camera or capturing images and video from the device.
Location permission
After Login, this app will need to access location even if the app is closed, or not in use until the employee presses attandance Logout.
Location data collected will be used for
1. Ensuring Safety & Security of the employees when on-field related work.
2. Calculating total distance travelled and complete route covered by the employee from Login attandance till Logout.
3. Efficient work allocation based on the current location of the employees.
The main purpose to using Geotask application is to calculate Excat distance travelled by employee and show his travelling route in google maps. When user use our Geotask APP, it automatically uploads location information to our server at https://georadius.geotask.in, including device information "Manufacturer", "Model", and "OS Version". You can delete this information at any time and we do not share any information with third parties. In addition, all recorded information will be automatically deleted after a period of three months.
We use attandance feature on our Geotask app, When employee click on Attendance block on dashboard page. we run location service in background , which calculates the total distance travelled by the employees, based on this data transport allowance given them to employee.
We do not object to you linking directly to the information that is hosted on our site and no prior permission is required for the same. However, we would like you to inform us about any links provided to our site so that you can be informed of any changes or updations therein. Also, we do not permit our pages to be loaded into frames on your site. Our website’s pages must load into a newly opened browser window of the user.
